And this is how it's done:

1. Turn both socks to the left.

2. Lay down a sock with the heel facing up. From the sock opening to the heel, sew a double seam at a center distance of approx. 5 mm.

3. Cut the sock between the double seams with scissors so that two legs are formed. Sew up the small openings as well. Use the opening between the legs to turn the sock to the right.

4. Use the opening between the legs to stuff the sock with filling cotton. Body and legs are done. Close opening with needle and thread.

5. On the second sock draw arms, mouth, tail and ears according to the template (complete instructions with template available for download under the article available), sew with the sewing machine and cut out of the sock.

6. Fill all parts, except for the mouth, with filling cotton and close the open ends with needle and thread, put the edges inwards when sewing.

7. For the ears, sew the bottom two corners together to create a kink in the ear.

8.Cut the eyes from the felt as shown. Position eyes on the head, pin and sew with needle and thread in the first stitch.

9. Stick the moving eyes on the felt.

10. Using a tailor's chalk, paint the mouth on the face. The upper edge of the mouth conceals a little bit the lower felt edge of the eyes. The shape of the mouth sewn from the hoe is rectangular with rounded corners. The unclean edges are struck inwards and pinned with pins. Sew on the mouth with the overcast stitch until only a 1.5 cm opening remains. Plug the mouth with cotton wool and sew the opening. Embroider a line in the desired color over the middle of the mouth with embroidery thread.

11. Sew on the ears to the right and left of the mouth.

12. The arms slightly back at height of the lower edge of the
Sew on mouth.

13. Sew on the tail at the bottom, behind the buttocks.
