    Notes on the instructions:

    SIZES:
    Hare: height about 11 cm.
    Chicken: height about 8 cm.

    SHORTCUTS:
    DStb = double sticks
    solid M = fixed mesh
    hStb = half sticks
    Warp = warp stitch (s)
    Airm = air mesh (s)
    M = mesh (s)
    Rd = round (s)
    Stb = chopsticks

    GAUGE:
    Fixed stitches in rounds: 6 rounds = 5 cm in diameter.
    If the mesh size is different, use thicker or thinner needles.

    BASIC TECHNIQUES:
    Basic Pattern: Crochet M in Spiral Rd, crocheting steadily M, ie there is no air m, replacing the 1st M at the beginning of the Rd.
    Note: When crocheting in Spiral-Rd, it is advisable to put a thread in a contrasting color after each round.
    With this method, the number of M can be controlled better. Remove the thread after the end of the round and reload at the beginning of the round.

    Duplicate 1 st: Crochet 2 solid sts in the same puncture site.

    Crocheted font for the grass tuft:
    At the beginning of the Rd as shown, replace each of the 1st sts with 1 airm for a fixed M resp. 3 airm for a tr (= replacement airm) and close each round with 1 sl st.
    Crochet the 1st and 2nd round 1x.

    And this is how it's done:

    Hare

    BODY:
    Crochet 2x.
    Begin in soft apricot with a magic ring (or 2 to 3 air m, with a warp closed to the ring).
    ROUND 1: Crochet 6 solid sts in the string after 1 round of air.
    2nd round: double every st = 12 sts.
    3rd round: double every 2 sts = 18 sts.
    ROUND 4: DOT 1 st, then every 3rd st = 24 sts.
    5th round: double every 4th st = 30 sts.
    ROUND 6: DOT 2 sts, then every 5th st = 36 sts.
    Crochet 1 sl st in the next st after the last solid st.

    HEAD:
    ROUND 4: Double the 1st st, then do the same doubles 5 times every 3rd st and then crochet 1 more sts.
    After the last solid sts for the 1st ear, cast 6 airm, then crochet 1 solid st in the 2nd and 3rd sts from the needle, in the next 3 sts and then crochet around the last crochet sts of the 3rd round for 1 sts each. Then work 1 solid M in the following M of the pre-Rd.
    Crochet the second ear in exactly the same way.
    After the last hstb, go over 1 sts of the pre-round and work into the following 1 l kettm.

    GRASS BÜSCHEL:
    Work in maigrun according to the crochet pattern, but apply 7 Luftm + Ersatz-3 Luftm.
    1st round: Crochet the airmate stop as shown.
    2nd round: Crochet 3 round sts for midshipman, 1 sts M in spare rounds, 1 st in front row, 1 sts, then 3 sts for the following pikots, 1 sts in front Work off the limb of the previously crocheted fixed M, passing 1 m of the pre-round as shown. Finish the round with a fixed M and Kettm in the spare airm.

    COMPLETION:
    Sew all threads. Black in the eyes with knot stitches, embroider the whiskers on the head with stitches. Place the head on the body, with the head resting on the outer rim of the body and the Rd transition from the body being obscured by the head. Sew the head on the body with a few stitches. Then place both bunnies on the left side and sew them together with halved crochet thread with lock stitches, leaving a small opening at the lower end of the body. Insert the wooden stick and on both sides of it secure the opening with 2 to 3 stitches around the outer edge, so that the wooden stick is firmly in the crochet part. Slide the grass tuft on the wooden stick.
