Instructions for cranberry chutney with labels

This cranberry chutney is not only delicious with the sweet labels, it's also a great Christmas gift.

What you need for the chutney and the labels:

  • 250 g cranberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 150 g of shallots
  • 2 pears
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 4 tablespoons white wine vinegar
  • 75 g brown sugar
  • salt
  • Mason jars and bottles
  • Transparent Paper
  • Schleifenband
  • Angel wings (department store / decolouring)
  • scissors
  • Lochzange

And this is how it's done:

1. Wash cranberries, read and drain.

2. Peel the shallots and finely dice. Peel, quarter and core the pears, cut into small pieces.

3. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a saucepan. Stew the shallots in a glassy sauce. Add cranberries and pears and steam briefly.

4. Add vinegar, 100 ml of water and sugar. Season with salt and cook in an open saucepan over low heat for about 15 minutes.

5. Using a funnel or a spoon, place the chutney in preserving jars or bottles and close well.

6. Print CranberryChutney in red on tracing paper. Cut out with scissors. Stick a small star on it and use a punch to punch a hole in the top margin.

7. Pull a band through and fasten with a loop.

8. At will z. B. angel wings with attach.
