Not just for tea lovers
These self-made bags in heart shape are a true declaration of love to the tea culture. Just tinker with the sweet parts.
You need this:
- white nettle cloth
- loose tea
- blue thicker yarn
- patterned photocard
- pink construction paper
- Journal Tanzer
- glue stick
- French chalk
- fabric scissors
- Sewing machine and white yarn
- teaspoon
- Zigzag scissors
And this is how it's done:
1. Spread the nettle fabric, use a tailor's chalk to paint the hearts on the fabric and cut to size.
2. Use the sewing machine to sew two halves of the heart together left to left until a teaspoon-wide opening remains.
3. Fill the fabric heart with loose tea.
4. Also put blue yarn through the opening.
5. Sew up the heart completely.
6. Use a zigzag scissors to cut several 2 x 2 cm squares of photo carton. Punch out the pink paper with the sheet punch and fix it with a glue stick on the square.
7. Stick blue yarn between a glued and an "empty" square of photo cardboard and press firmly together.
