Andrea Berg (46) is today one of the biggest pop singers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and broke all the records that are possible in German music. Insane 254 weeks have their best-of album in the top 100 German charts - as long as no other!
Berg is celebrating its 20th anniversary this week. In recognition of the great performance of the Schlager-Queen, the MDR is hosting an anniversary show to be broadcast on Saturday at 8:15 pm on ARD.
In the show, Berg will look back on highlights of her career and welcome people who are personally close to her heart and who have accompanied her on her career.
Semino Rossi (50), Roland Kaiser (60), Florian Silbereisen (31), Andreas Gabalier (28), Lionel Richie (63), Kai Pflaume (45), Simone Thomalla (47) followed the invitation.
It's been 20 years since Andrea was in her mid-20s when one of her demo cassette fell into the hands of a music producer. For Berg this meant the breakthrough. In 1992 her first album "You're free."
Since then, a lot has happened, Andrea Berg sang in the minds and hearts of the people and today is a real hit icon with strong songs, an incredible presence and brilliant stage outfits.
Reason enough to celebrate the anniversary properly. In the TV show under the motto "Andrea Berg - The 20 Years Show" Berg looks back on a steep career with friends, family and thousands of fans, which she once started as a nurse.
A must for all fans!
