Everything is well attached Crochet Pattern for Bärchen Magnets

These fridge magnets in bear design hold everything securely and firmly in place. Try yourself and crochet yourself!

With these sweet magnets one likes to go to the fridge once more.

This is what you need for the Bärchen magnets:

  • Fine cotton yarn (LL 140 m / 50 g) in white, camel, yellow and turquoise, leftovers
  • Cotton yarn in black, rest
  • Crochet hook 2.5 mm
  • fiberfill
  • magnets
  • Strong glue

And this is how it's done:

HEAD
Start with a thread ring.
1st round: 6 sc in the ring.
2nd round: 2 sc in each st. You will receive 12 sts.
3rd round: * 1 dc, 1 st beg *, repeat from * to * 5 more times. You get 18 M.
ROUND 4: * 2 sc, 1 st beg *, repeat from * to * 5 more times. You get 24 M.
ROUND 5: * 3 dc, 1 st in *, repeat from * to * 5 more times. You get 30 M.
6th round: 1 dc in each M.
ROUND 7: * Skip 1 st, 4 dc *, repeat from * to * 5 more times.
You get 24 M.
ROUND 8: * Skip 1 st, 3 dc *, repeat from * to * 5 more times.
You get 18 M.
Fill the head with filling cotton.
9th round: * skip 1 st, 2 dc *, repeat from * to * 5 more times.
You get 12 m.
ROUND 10: * Skip 1 st, 1 dc *, repeat from * to * 5 more times.
You get 6 M.
Cut the thread and sew it.

SNOUT
Start with a thread ring.
1st round: 6 sc in the ring.
2nd round: 2 sc in each st. You will receive 12 sts.
3rd round: * 1 dc, 1 dc *, repeat from * to *. You get 18 M.
4th and 5th round: 1 sc in each st.
Cut the thread and leave a long thread end. Fill the muzzle with filling cotton and sew to the head.

EARS
Crochet two ears. Start with 2 ch.
1st round: 3 sc in 1st ch, 1 ch, then work. You get 3 m.
2nd round: 1 st in 1 st, 1 st in, 1 ch, then turn to work. You get 5 m.
3rd round: 1 st at 3 h, 1 st at first. You get 7 M.
Cut the thread, leaving a long thread end and sew the ear to the head.
Embroider the eyes and the nose with black yarn. Stick the bear's head on the magnet.
