The sensation: finally the reconciliation!
After 13 years of separation, tears and bitter reproaches, the once-in-a-lifetime couple have come together again.
Al Bano (69) and Romina Power (60). That was "Felicità", that was love and bliss. With the two you connected forever the happy couple. Until 1994 suddenly everything changed: Their daughter Ylenia, then 23, disappeared without a trace.
Only five years after this terrible tragedy, the marriage of the once-in-a-lifetime couple broke up. What followed was a bitter Rose War, a bad quarrel. Until now! For when we visit Al Bano in southern Italy, he reveals: "I forgave Romina !" Finally, the way is clear for a new beginning.
It just did not look like they were going through life together. Romina scolded Al Bano on a talk show: "He was a dictator! When he got upset, he started yelling, even kicking me once, he was morbidly jealous, and behaved like a tyrant." And then: "Our marriage was hell."
Sentences that hit Al Bano like dagger hits in the heart. But instead of reproaching Romina, he shakes her hand for reconciliation, says: "What she said really hurt me, but I'm not a man who is angry for a lifetime, because as the Bible says: Who never did anything wrong, throw the first stone. " And he even goes a step further and apologizes to Romina: "I never wanted to hurt her on purpose, never."
Meanwhile, Romina regularly visits him on his idyllic estate in southern Italy. "She lives here for a few days and we do that for the family, for our children, " says Al Bano. "And besides, I was very happy with her, I loved her over everything, life with her was a paradise, fantastic, she gave me so much, we were so in love that I could not have dreamed anything better."
