"I really enjoy fatherhood"
Steep career: In 2007, Friedrich Mücke finished acting school and gave his debut at the Munich Volkstheater. Last year he made his debut as Erfurt crime scene commissar. In Matthias Schweighöfer's new comedy "Vaterfreuden" (from 6.2.2014) he is in the midst of Germany's coolest young actors to see.

JOY: In the movie you play a slightly lifeless nerd. Since 2011 you are the father of a daughter. Does the daddy role provide grounding in your life?
Friedrich Mücke: Quite yes. I like being a father and enjoy it all. Now I'm more concerned about my family, but still try to live on my "old" life in a different way.
"Vaterfreuden" is the fourth joint project with Matthias Schweighöfer. Are you a private friend?
You could say so. In addition to our films, we have always kept in touch, exchanged ideas, philosophized about life, and also enjoyed partying. I appreciate him very much. He is an absolute exceptional. If he were a racing driver, he would be world champion.
What do you like to do when you are free?
First of all, celebrate being together with the family. But I also like to go to the sauna, watch all sorts of TV shows or listen to music.
Are you one who tortures and steelens in the gym? Or rather a relaxed pleasure person?
Both. But the second I am probably more inclined.
They come from Berlin and live in Munich. What can eastern men do better than west men?
