1. Murder of Tupac Shakur

On Friday, September 13, 1996, rapper Tupac Shakur was shot dead . His body was burned and the ashes of his gang, the Outlawz, smoked in a joint.

2. Bombing of Buckingham Palace

On September 13, 1940, the Nazis bombarded Buckingham Palace. At the same time the chapel of the palace was badly damaged. King George VI. and his wife Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon (Queen Mum) came away unscathed.

3. Plane crash in the Andes

On October 13, 1972, a plane crashed with 45 inmates in the Andes. About a quarter of the inmates died in the crash, others later died as a result of their injuries and the cold. Only 72 days later could the surviving 16 inmates be recovered. In their misery, they had consumed the flesh of those who had already died.
