Be happy instead of depressed? That's how it goes!

Many of us are overwhelmed with life, sad and depressed. But with a little mindfulness, we can bring happiness back into our lives.

You are sad and depressed - and just want to be happy?

The happiest people in my circle of acquaintances have all 7 very obvious habits in common. If you want to increase your overall happiness, consider the following habits for your life.

"Most people are just as happy as they say they are." - Abraham Lincoln

1. Be part of something you believe in

That could be anything. Maybe you can take an active role in the city council or take part in an initiative. Maybe you're more involved in church, becoming part of a club, or creating a second leg. In any case, the physiological result is the same. You engage in something you believe in. Only by doing so do you experience happiness because your life has a wider meaning.

2. Spend time with friends and family

A happy life is a life with friends and in the family. The stronger the personal relationships and the higher the interaction frequency, the happier you become.

3. See it positively

Many people are too happy to focus on the negative in life and are too pessimistic that there is no time left to reflect on positive or personal success . This is only natural for perfectionists and anyone who wants to put unwanted factors aside. Nevertheless, health should also be an important part of your life. Always balance between the remaining work and possible problems and the already realized successes in your life. A steady perception of your daily accomplishments can have a noticeable effect on your emotional happiness.

4. Use the sources that are available to you

Most people are always amazed when they see the happiness of physically disabled people. How can anyone be so happy in this situation? The answer is how available sources are used. Stevie Wonder was blind and therefore used his sense of hearing for his passion: the music. He received over 25 Grammys. Is that enough as an example?

5. Create many happy endings if possible

The power of outputs is really noteworthy. The end of each experience has a profound impact on the person's personal perception of the entire experience. Think of a well-written and thought-provoking book. Now imagine a completely inappropriate and bad ending. Even if the story was captivating right up to the end, you probably would not recommend the book, would you? People remember the last event - the end. When there is a happy ending, happiness is created. Therefore, try to make open ends to good ends and thus experience more and more happiness in your life if possible.

6. Use your personal strengths to get ahead

Everyone has unique personal strengths. We all have different talents and abilities. Emotional happiness is experienced by those who can use their strength for themselves and their work or projects. Having achieved something inevitably leads to happiness. When you have achieved goals solely on the basis of your talent and your abilities, the result of pyhsiological treatment is simply priceless.

7. Enjoy the natural pleasures of life

I have said it before and like to repeat myself. The best things in life are free, and appear in the form of simple pleasures that can appear right in front of you at random times and in different places. Only Mother Nature determines these moments. You just have to notice it. Take some time to watch hand-in-hand with your partner reflecting sunsets in the lake or listen to favorite songs on the radio. It is such small moments that lead to happiness - when you consciously perceive them.
