Let someone else look into my purse? D rather not! Because I do not like to confess, but I'm a real handbag messie! Otherwise everything in my life is always super doll. Every little particle has its place in my apartment. Meticulously I clean up almost every night, so that really nothing in my own four walls is in the wrong place - and I probably can not find it again ...
But my handbag is categorically excluded from this nightly cleanup. There, next to the front door on a dresser, she lives her life as a private garbage dump. And a quick look into it reveals: Here, a whole while has not been mucked out. Cigarette paper next to the lipstick, candies sticky with heat next to the wallet, old receipts crumpled up on the phone. A miserable picture, I think, but already is the next appointment (whether professional or private) turn and everything is needed quickly, quickly just stuffed into the bag on the top ...
It's not just me, I know that - but why do women often find it so difficult to solve the simple task of getting their handbag up to scratch ?! Here are five explanatory approaches:
1. When changing handbags, there is always residual waste. The handbag does not fit the outfit ?! Crap, so quickly a new model ago. Of course, only the bare essentials will be removed. The garbage remains in handbag number 1 while number 2 is running. To work the next morning handbag 1 must believe again. Of course, she is not mucked out, only everything important from 2 in 1 packed. But in model 2, the garbage of the evening remains again - until it is needed again ... and everything important then stuffed on the waste garbage.
2. Your own children use your handbag as a trash can - but you live it before them. The little ones are real explorers and collectors. A chestnut, a pretty stone, a beautiful flower - and the great finds from nature vanish with an extra load of sand in their handbag. Finally, they should all come home with them in the collector's box. Of course, they will never do that ... Months later you will find the collected works of art - and will be filled with nostalgic feelings. So throwing away is not - and so stone, stick and Co. just stay where they feel so long ...
3. The bag will never be too heavy to take with you. The handbags for the back are not the healthiest in the world, is now clear as Kloßbrühe. But somehow hardly any of us care about it. Without a handbag, we feel like naked, something is missing in the hand and you have the whole day the impression something important to have forgotten (like to try - it is really weird). Therefore, we do not care how heavy and garbage the handbag is. She MUST! And we do not feel a bit forced to remove one or two unnecessary things.
4. We suffer from chronic time shortages. Always on the pulse of the city, always on the move, meeting friends here, a quick lunch with Mama, having been home for a few moments to put on comfortable shoes and go to the girls' evening. Yes we are under constant fire - and since our time is always tight, there is simply no room left for vile clean-ups. Unless it is about your own home, we make this appointment - and then put it into action.
5. We have to be prepared for EVERYTHING, always and everywhere. After all, an emergency situation could occur in which one still wants to be well prepared. We have: The tights during a run. The umbrella, if it begins to dribble. Mascara in case of a possible howling attack. An extra bag, if you buy more than planned ... and, and, and ... Sure, that we take the pantyhose even if we do not wear a skirt, drag the umbrella, although no severe weather is forecast and the extra bag if we do not go shopping.
My good intent for the future: Often times empty the bag, turn it over and shake it out (unbelievable, which sometimes drops out - I thought I would have lost that lipstick), deliberately planning time to treat it well. Because: Handbags are really reliable companions for every day, which we should maybe pay a little more attention. They deserved it!
