Lilac is great!
Romantic duet: seductively scented and combined with delicate lace decorations, the white and purple flowers present themselves in the finest company.
If you want to decorate the blossoming branches of the so-called butterfly tree or even Syringa Vulgaris at home, you should take a few tips from our flower expert Anna Barnstorf *. Here she reveals a few tricks with which the lilac holds long even in the vase.
Cut lilac:
If you pick lilac in your own garden, you should cut it in the early morning hours . Ideal for the vase are umbels, which are still slightly closed at the tips.
To cultivate lilac-bouquet:
For optimal water supply, carve the ends of the handles with a knife or tap them with a hammer. To prevent germs from forming, renew the vase water daily.
